When Sweet Treats Shaved Ice owner Melanie Brandenburg heard the news about local brothers Austin and Dylan Cluck being seriously injured in a wreck, she knew she wanted to do something to help the family.
Melanie contacted a friend in Cedarville and was connected via Facebook Messenger to Brandy Langley and KateLynn Oden. Brandy had organized a wristband fundraiser for the boys and KateLynn was overseeing the sale of T-shirts. Together the ladies planned a fundraiser at Cedarville City Park which will feature sno-cones and #cluckstrong wristbands and T-shirts. “Mindi Cluck is a personal friend and my amazing hair dresser. She always talks about her boys, even though I have never met them, I feel like I know them. We just knew we wanted to be able to help the family some way, and between a few ladies talking over Facebook, this event transpired,” said Melanie.
Sweet Treats Shaved Ice is a family owned mobile shaved ice business specializing in school events, local festivals and fundraisers. .
